Ramapo Running Back Hroncich Commits to Assumption

running back/safety Mike Hroncich is scheduled to sign a commitment to play football at Assumption College, sources say.

"I want to thank my family, coaches and teammates," Hroncich said Tuesday. "My years at Ramapo have been great some of these guys I've played football with since 4th grade."

Hroncich earned nearly 5 yards per carry on 69 rushes this year, according to MaxPreps, as Ramapo racked up a humble 5-5 overall record this year under Head Coach Drew Gibbs. 

Hroncich said he was invited to visit a number of schools, but his visit to Assumption felt him feeling comfortable with the school's atmosphere and coaching staff

"I look forward to the next 4 years playing football for Assumption," Hroncich said.

Assumption is a Division II team in Worchester, Ma., that competes in the Northeast-10 division.
