The walk raises money for Down Syndrome support groups and research.

WYCKOFF, N.J. — Hundreds of people walked around the Wyckoff YMCA campus for the 12th annual Bergen Buddy Walk Oct. 1.

William and Jennifer Burns, of Ramsey, were named the honorary chairpersons of the walk. Their daughter, Shannon, has Down Syndrome. The family has received a great deal of support from the Y and its Billy's Buddies group.
