Lawlins Road In Wyckoff Will Be Closed For Railway Work Beginning Today

Safety upgrades will be installed at Lawlins Road railway crossing. The work is expected to end Saturday.

WYCKOFF, N.J. — Motorists should allow for extra time traveling near Lawlins Road this week due to work that will be done on the railroad crossing there, officials announced.

The state Department of Transportation and the New York Susquehanna and Western Railway Corp. will perform safety work at the railway crossing beginning Monday. Work is scheduled to be completed Saturday.

A detour will be put in effect and signs posted. Motorists should consider taking another route and plan in extra time while traveling in the area.

Officials will provide an update the project is not completed by June 25.
