Ramapo, Indian Hills Dominate All-County Squads

The 2011 season was a huge success for the Ramapo and Indian Hills girls gymnastics squads, with 12 athletes being named to the All-Bergen County teams.

Here's a rundown of those selected. Congratulations to all who participated this season!

FIRST TEAM

All-Around -- Kayla Yosif, Ramapo, junior

All-Around -- Kristen Zaccardi, Indian Hills, junior

All-Around -- Julia Dugas, Indian Hills, sophomore

Vault -- Sahara Gipson, Ramapo, sophomore

Bars -- Lauren Kish, Ramapo, sophomore

Beam -- Jenn Nacion, Ramapo, freshman

SECOND TEAM

Bars -- Lauren Casey, Ramapo, sophomore

Beam -- Claire Scavone, Ramapo, sophomore

HONORABLE MENTION

Ramapo -- Niki Slingland, Kristen Giacose

Indian Hills -- Jennifer Allan, Jill Koonjy

In the All-NJGL Division, the above-mentioned athletes were named, as well as honorable mentions for Ramapo's Michelle Sturno and Allie Schwab, and Alysee Michaels of Indian Hills.

Ramapo Coach Jen Levirne was named All-Division coach of the Year.
