Wyckoff Mayor Christopher DePhillips will serve nearly two years on the Northwest Bergen County Utilities Authority, NorthJersey.com reported Thursday. According to the report, the duo was appointed unanimously by the Bergen County Board of Chosen Freeholders at its May 2 meeting. DaPuzzo indicated that he was approached by the county and asked to serve on the board.
The appointments come about two weeks after seven NBUA commissioners sued County Executive Kathleen Donovan for firing them.
