Riverdale Man Arrested in Connection to Two Wyckoff Burglaries
The 28-year-old man was arrested for the burglaries of Godwin Lukoil and Sunrise Bagel in late July.
A Riverdale man was arrested Wednesday in connection with two Wyckoff burglaries.
Joseph D. Demauex, 28, of Riverdale, was charged with two counts of burglary, theft, criminal mischief and possession of burglar tools.
The extensive investigation came after two overnight burglaries at Godwin Lukoil and Sunrise Bagel in Wyckoff on July 25. Detectives developed information about the crimes by working with other agencies that had experienced similar burglaries.

At the time of Demauex’s arrest, he was found in the Morris County Jail on charges from another jurisdiction. These charges will be an additional detainer.
Bail was set at $200,000.
