Highways Flooded, Accidents Slow Traffic During Storm
Route 208 In Franklin Lakes was flooded Sunday night.

NORTH JERSEY, NJ — Flash floods and traffic accidents were littered across Bergen and Passaic counties Sunday as a late-season cold-front moved through the area.
Both sides of Route 208 in Franklin Lakes were flooded Sunday afternoon, police said.
Interstate 80 was especially bad in Woodland Park and Elmwood Park. Traffic slowed to a crawl on both sides of the highway due to two crashes on the westbound side of the highway near exits 61 and 56. There was another crash on the eastbound side in the same area. The crashes and flooding closed several lanes of both sides of the highway.
