Students At Calvin Coolidge School Eat, Learn About Healthy Foods From Around The World

The seventh annual Wellness Fair was held at Calvin Coolidge School on Wednesday. The focus of the Wellness Committee is to promote healthy living throughout the School community.

The fair was “a fun and exciting learning experience for the students where they engage in activities and enjoy nutritious foods,” said Mayor Kevin Rooney. This year’s theme was Healthy Eating Around the World.

The students got to eat healthy meals of indigenous people of Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. to the regions of Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East.

Children also participated in exercises and learned about physical fitness, Rooney said.
