Woman Dies Giving Birth To Twins, Donations Needed For Family

More than $14,400 was donated in the first 24 hours.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — The family of a woman who died after giving birth to twins is raising donations for her husband and children.

Julia Roman suffered a amniotic fluid embolism unexpectedly after the birth of her daughters, Roman's sister-in-law Lucelenia Pimentel of Dumont said on a gofundme.com page set up for the family.

More than $14,400 was donated on the first day. The money will be used to help Roman's husband and three daughters Victoria, Isabella and Grace.
