Wyckoff Boutique Funds Cancer Patient
A local woman battling cancer will receive from help from a Bergen business.

All is Well Boutique in Wyckoff will hold a fundraiser for a woman battling Glandular MAC cancer.
Bergen resident Noreen Mastellon was diagnosed with the cancer in September 2013 while working in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
Mastellon underwent facial surgery in an attempt to remove the tumors but the attempt was not completely successful, and Dubai doctors told her there was nothing more they could do for her.

She returned home last summer and has been receiving treatments at the John Theurer Cancer Center [JTCC] with Hackensack University Medical Center.
“Despite having health insurance, nothing is covered 100%,” Mastellon writes of her illness on her GoFundMe.com page. “Let alone not all the Medical professionals I need to see and or undergo surgical procedures with participate with my health insurance carrier. The worst is when your health insurance company denies payment towards a treatment and or prescription drug because they deem it to be too expensive. It is a reality of our US health care system.”
“Cancer is a disability and an expensive one at that,” she concludes.
