Wyckoff Church Continues To Raise Money To Repair Damaged Headstones

The Wyckoff Reformed Church needs another $16,000 to repair the headstones.

WYCKOFF, NJ — The Wyckoff Reformed Church continues to raise money to repair 50 headstones in its historic cemetery that were damaged last year.

Many of the headstones are more than 100 years old and broke when vandals knocked them down in October, police said.

Insurance paid the church half of the $57,000 in damages. The church raised another $4,500 through a GoFundMe campaign, but the church is $16,000 short of what they need, said Nancy Mattera, a church member leading the restoration effort.
