Wyckoff Fitness Center Celebrates Milestone With Grand Opening

WYCKOFF, NJ — A fitness center is Wyckoff recently marked its success and one year anniversary with a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony.

Mayor Melissa D. Rubenstein, chamber representatives and the community came out Tuesday to Exclusive Fitness to help the owner and staff celebrate the milestone occasion.

The fitness center is owned by Eric Gregory who specializes in one-on-one personal training.

"They have a great space and awesome trainers. Come by and check them out!" the chamber posted on its official Facebook page.

Exclusive Fitness is located at 681 Lawlins Rd. in Unit 180 in Wyckoff.

During the grand opening, the first 10 people in the door received free boxing gloves.

"Thank you to everyone that came and for all your love and support!" the fitness center posted on its site.

Exclusive Fitness first opened its door for business Friday, Oct. 9, 2020 - and has persevered even as the COVID-19 pandemic negatively impacted many businesses nationwide.

During the height of the pandemic, many municipalities mandated U.S. health clubs, gyms, and studios close for several months.

According to the Global Health & Fitness Association, in 2019, there were over 40,000 fitness facilities. As of July 1, 2021, 22 percent of gyms and studios permanently closed their doors.
