Wyckoff Zoning Board Picks Spizziri as New Attorney

The voted in John Spizziri as the board's new attorney at their meeting Thursday night.

Spizziri comes to the position with years of previous experience in local and state government. He is currently the Franklin Lakes Planning Board's attorney.

"It's kind of strange being on this side of the table after all these years, but I welcome it," Spizziri said. "I look forward to working with this board."

The position was left open last June when previous board attorney Harold Cook stepped down in the wake of . Ramsey Mayor served as the temporary board attorney for the rest of the year.

The board also voted Jerome Lombardo as the new chairman and Jim Donkersloot as the new vice chairman.

"I love Wyckoff as much as you can love a town," Lombardo said.

The board will continue hearing Christian Health Care Center's application for its proposed Vista expansion at a special meeting Monday.
