Albuquerque City Council Celebrates Beloved Seven Bar Elementary Educator Elizabeth Ours on Her 90th Birthday (cabq.gov) — Albuquerque's City Council is honoring longtime Seven Bar Elementary educator Elizabeth Ours by proclaiming today, Sept. 10, 2026, as "Elizabeth Ours Day" on her 90th birthday. A brief outdoor celebration at the school's amphitheater runs from 9:15–9:35 a.m., with heavy traffic expected around the campus starting at 9 a.m.
