7 Last-Minute Options for New Year's Eve
It's New Year's Eve and if you don't have a place to go, or something to do, Patch offers up local spots you can celebrate the last evening of 2010.

Four thousand years ago, the first New Year's celebration took place--believe it or not--in Babylon. Ancient Babylonia, that is, and the party lasted for eleven straight days.
In modern day Babylon Village, the party is for just one night.
And that's tonight.
