Calories In Versus Calories Out: Weight Management
It's all about calories in versus calories out when it comes to managing your weight.

Here are some tips on weight management:
It's really a very simple concept. It is all about calories in versus calories out. When you eat more calories than you burn, you will gain weight. The extra calories are stored as body fat. A pound of fat is made up of every 3,500 stored calories. So for every 3,500 unused calories, you will gain 1 lb.
500 extra calories a day, 7 days a week = 3,500 unused calories, or 1 lb.
If you cut 250 calories from your day and burn 250 calories from exercising it will = 500 fewer calories a day which will = 3,500 calories burned in a week, resulting in a 1 lb weight loss.
Make your weight goals realistic and remember that it takes time and determination to achieve your goal and maintain a healthy weight. Maintaining a healthy weight will better your overall health and your life in the long run. Don't be discouraged!
Consult a doctor to make a plan that is healthy and will work best for you.
