It's Cookie Contest Time at the Conklin House

Get those rolling pins ready as the annual village cookie contest is happening this week.

Contest day is Thursday, December 1 and both young and old can participate as there are several categories:

• Buddy & Me (up to 11 years old)
• Junior High Students
• Senior High Students
• Adults

Bakers need to drop off their cookies, in a disposable container, between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Thursday.

Winners will be announced during the open house event taking place between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Friday, December 2.

To register please call Cindy Theiss at 587-6352, Kathy Ruggeri at 669-2970 or sign up at the Babylon Public Library.

Visitors to the open house event will be able to tour the house and the barn which will both be decorated for the holiday season. Babylon High School students will entertain with songs and musical instruments. There will be raffle prizes available and potpourri and herb bouquets for sale. Visitors can also donate non-perishable food items for local food pantries.
