Surf Donuts Announces Closure After 3 Months In Business

The shop, which quickly became a hot spot, announced the closure on Sunday.

BABYLON, NY - A new donut shop in Babylon announced it will be closing down after only 3 months in business.

Surf Donuts announced in a post on its Facebook page on Sunday that the shop located on 10 Grove Street will be closed indefinitely due to "certain issues in the location."

The business, which quickly became a local hot spot, opened in April.

Surf Donuts will still be accepting custom orders from another location in a few weeks.

"We appreciate all of your support greatly and don’t worry everyone there will still be great places to stop in and grab a donut," the Facebook post reads.

In addition, the business will be offering refunds to anyone with a gift certificate by calling 631-456-6141.
