Local teen talent Tyler Gumpel recently performed his original song "Painter's Eye" at the Babylon Bean's open mic night. The song is a metaphor, he explained, for the fact that while a painting stays static, people's lives must change and move on. He wrote the song in honor of a friend who was graduating from high school.
