Viewfinder: Historical Society's Wassail Bowl Serves Up Fun
Babylon neighbors meet over wassail at the Historical Society's annual Wassail Bowl.
The Wassail Bowl gathering at the Babylon Village Historical Society is an annual tradition that attracts a large crowd as it's held after the tree lighting at Argyle Park. Residents and friends meet inside the museum for cups of warm mulled cider, sweet treats and merry conversation. Each year, a handmade quilt is raffled, and this year, the quilt had special significance since it was designed to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the museum building.
