Babylon Village will celebrate its founding and history with a village-wide day of reminiscing and gathering on Saturday, April 2.

Founders' Day events will include a tour of the , a tour and a history of the recently renovated on West Main Street, and lectures and refreshments at the .

Mary Cascone, an archivist at the Old Town Hall Museum, says this is the first year that Founders' Day will take place. The idea behind the event is that "spring is a great time for all three buildings to be open at once, and for local residents to be able to walk from the Conklin House to Old Town Hall and then to the historical society," while learning about village history.

"It's going to be hundreds of years of history condensed down into two hours," Cascone said.
