Police: Queens Couple Caught in Heroin Bust with Daughter in the Car

Incident happened Wednesday night, cops said.

A couple from Queens were caught in an undercover heroin sting Wednesday with their young daughter in the car, according to Nassau County Police.

At 8:20 p.m., Reese Russell, 25, of St. Albans, sold heroin to an undercover detective in Franklin Square, police said. Russell’s wife, Victoriia Russell, 23, was in the passenger seat and presented a fake Connecticut driver’s license to detectives, cops said.

Police said the Russells’ 18-month-old daughter was in the car during the drug deal. The child was released to a family member at the scene, cops said.

Reese Russell was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and endangering the welfare of a child. Victoriia Russell was charged with third-degree possession of a forged instrument and endangering the welfare of a chilld. Both will be arraigned Thursday at First District Court in Hempstead.
