Bed-Stuy Under Winter Storm Watch
National Weather Service issued the watch Tuesday morning.

A winter storm watch has been issued for all of New York City.
The watch goes into effect at 7 a.m. Wednesday and ends at 7 a.m. Thursday. The National Weather Service is forecasting 4 to 8 inches of snow in the area.
A mixture of rain and snow Wednesday morning should change to all snow by late afternoon, the NWS said.

The New York City Department of Sanitation has also issued a ‘snow alert’ for Wednesday, starting at 7 a.m.
“A snow alert indicates the possibility of a snow event. In preparation for a snow event, DSNY personnel begin initial equipment readiness, including loading its salt spreaders, attaching plows when necessary, preparing tire chains and notifying supplementary personnel as needed,” the DSNY said in a statement.
