Enjoy time gone by, of the 1930's era of JAZZ sustained in a 19th c 1880's Townhouse, belonging to a 6 generational family. that  remains in a  community with a welcoming spirit with a huge Jazz History. Join each Friday and Saturday for a classic Jazz experience.  
BSJ Festival includes - Popcorn Happy Hour, Concert, and Famous Fish-fry.

THE ROOM is located in the house  created  to present classical music  The space has beautiful natural wooded areas, that creates an acoustic sound which allows to fully enjoy the music, of brass and wooden instruments, such as the 19th c. Piano at the front of THE ROOM
 RSVP 917-704-9237                 Featured Artist BioJazz singer Marion Cowings is a native New Yorker. His smooth baritone voice and considerable range has been delighting audiences around the world for decades. Mentored by the legendary Jon Hendricks, Cowings is a master of scat and vocal technique. He has appeared at the Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, Blue Note, Village Vanguard, and as well as many prestigious venues abroad. He is a recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts grant and a published lyricist with Quincy Jones, Wayne Shorter, Frank Foster, and Sonny Rollins. Currently Cowings performs regularly at Small Jazz Club in the West Village.
