a celebration of Bedford-Stuyvesant’s past, present, and future through the arts and education
When: Saturday, May 31st, 2014 from 1-6 p.m.
Where: The Schoolyard @ 800 Gates Ave (between Stuyvesant Ave and Malcolm X)

If you are an artist with a relationship to Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn and would like a platform to showcase your art for the outdoor museum, and or teach your art, we would love to have you.
Below are some examples of artists we are seeking, but we are open to hearing about other creative ways of participation:
• Musicians
• Painters
• Photographers
• Teaching Artists for facilitation of Children's Art Programs/Workshops (all ages)
• Storytellers
Please submit an electronic sample of your work (if available) and a brief statement telling us why and how you want to participate in Spring in the Stuy to Giovanna@lacimacharterschool.org by May 12th,2014
