Central Brooklyn Jazz Consortium presents Jazz! The Women’s
Viewpoint as part of the 15th Annual Central Brooklyn Jazz Festival.
The program will be held at Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration
Corporation’s Skylight Gallery on Saturday, April 19 from 1:00 to 4 PM. This forum highlights women's role in
Jazz. It features a panel of women who
have excelled in performing and or promoting Jazz; it will feature an all-female
jazz band. Panelists: Viola Plummer,
Debbie McClain, and Kim Clarke with moderator Jazzmobile’s Executive Director
Robin Bell-Stevens. Performances by
