Juneteenth Family Fun Day Sponsored by Umoja Events & Balloon Decor

Every year for the past 6 years we have organized all of our resources to give back to the community what we call "Juneteenth A Family Fun Day". This event brings together over 5,000 thousand people to one location for one day. We have over 100 vendors selling crafts, jewelry, food, art, candles and other fun household items. There is a Marching Band Performance, Professional Talent from the community and neighboring areas, Basketball Tournament, Food giveaways, games for families and kids and much more. We celebrate the day Blacks in the south realized they were free Typically on June 19 but for us we have capitalized on Father's Day Weekend at Gershwin Park in East NY Brooklyn. This is our small way of giving back to people who give so much to us. June 14, 2014 from 11AM- 6PM.
