Pics: Man Wanted For Bed-Stuy Home Invasion That Killed 91-year-old, NYPD Says
Police want to question this man about the Bed Stuy home invasion that cost 91-year-old Waldiman Thompson his life.

BEDFORD STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — Pictures of a man police suspect was involved in the killing of 91-year-old Waldiman Thompson during a Bed-Stuy home invasion were released Tuesday. NYPD Chief of Detectives said they were treating the case as murder.
The surveillance photos were captured after Thompson was tied up with his 100-year-old wife inside the couple’s Decatur Street home on Thursday afternoon, police said. HIs wife managed to escape and summoned cops, but her husband died, the NYPD said.

The man police hope to question is described as wearing dark clothing and was carrying a backpack and locked box. Police also announced they were offering a $10,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to the arrest of the four burglars who remain at large as of Tuesday afternoon.
A funeral is planned on Friday for Thompson, who police found lying unconscious on the floor after his wife Ethlin escaped her ties and called 911.
