The
Turner Syndrome Foundation and the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at The
New York Presbyterian will host a parent conference on Saturday, March 22nd.
The conference is designed to educate and support patients diagnosed with
Turner Syndrome
and their caregivers in many aspects of the syndrome and their management. The
program includes four presentations by Weill Cornell physicians on growth,
puberty and development, cardiac problems, and hearing concerns in people with
Turner syndrome. Families will have the opportunity to ask questions and
interact with each other. The day is closed by a presentation that addresses
social issues and a patient panel interactive session. A light lunch will be
served.
