Bedford Teen Who Crashed Ferrari May Face Additional Charges
He and his passenger have been released from the hospital.

BEDFORD, NY — The teen who crashed a Ferrari into a horse farm in Bedford was released from the hospital and could face additional charges, the Bedford Police Department said. Jake Schaevitz, 19, of Bedford, was originally charged with driving while intoxicated, in the wake of the crash in which he was allegedly speeding, lost control of the Ferrari on Route 172 and rolled the vehicle over several times, the Daily Voice said.
The crash occurred around 1 a.m. Memorial Day, May 29.
Schaevitz’s 19-year-old passenger, a Pound Ridge resident, was seriously injured in the crash and has been released from the hospital as well.
