KATONAH, NY — The first day of school is Sept. 4 in the Katonah-Lewisboro school district — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you'll want to mark the dates on your calendar ASAP.

The Katonah-Lewisboro school district has released its 2019-20 calendar.

The calendars include important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for the 2019-20 school year:

• 9/30-10/1: No School (Rosh Hashanah)

October

• 10/9: No School (Yom Kippur)
• 10/14: No School (Columbus Day)

November

• 11/5: Election Day/Supt. Conf.
• 11/11: No School (Veterans Day)
• 11/28-29: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/23-31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1-3: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/20: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/17: No School (President's Day)
• 2/18: No School (Supt. Conference Day)

April

• 4/3: Weather Reserve Day
• 4/6-10: No School (Spring Recess)
• 4/13: Weather Reserve Day

May

• 5/22: Weather Reserve Day
• 5/25: No School (Memorial Day)
• 5/26: Weather Reserve Day

June

• 6/26: Last Day of School
