Soggy Start to the Weekend: Hudson Valley Weather

It’s going to be a soggy start to the weekend with rain and possible thunderstorms in the forecast.

After a beautifully sunny Thursday, with some areas reaching into the 80s, we face a slight chance of drizzle in the early morning hours of Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

The lows overnight Thursday will be in the mid-50s.

During the day Friday, there is a slight chance of drizzle before 7 a.m., with a chance of showers until the early afternoon.

After 1 p.m., we can expect showers and possibly a thunderstorm. The high will be in the mid-60s.

Friday night, the forecast calls for showers and possible thunderstorms before 9 p.m., after which there will be a slight chance of showers until around 1 a.m.

The overnight low will be in the low- to mid-50s.

Showers will be around throughout most of Saturday, with the chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Temps will be in the low 70s.

Showers are forecast to exit the area Saturday night, with skies becoming cloudy, then partly cloudy.

The overnight low will be around 45.
