TAKE 5 Winning Ticket Purchased in the Hudson Valley

A second winning ticket was sold upstate for the Jan. 5 drawing.

MIDDLETOWN, NY — A winning TAKE 5 ticket for the Jan. 5 drawing was sold in Orange County.

New York Lottery officials said the ticket, which is worth $21,334.50, was sold at the Quick Chek located at 751-761 Route 211 East in Middletown.

A second ticket, worth the same amount, was sold in Rochester.

The winning numbers for the Jan. 5 TAKE 5 drawing were 06-14-18-35-38.

In addition to the top prize, which was won by matching all five numbers, 206 players each purchased winning tickets worth $466 by matching four out of five numbers for the drawing.

Officials said there were a total of 82,527 winners for the Jan. 5 TAKE 5 drawing.

The Lottery encourages everyone who bought a New York Lottery draw game ticket, to check their tickets again, as they could be holding a winner. Tickets expire one year after the game’s drawing.

The winners may claim the tickets at Empire City Casino at Yonkers Raceway at 810 Yonkers Avenue in Yonkers, NY 10704 or any of the Lottery’s Customer Service Centers statewide, including the Lottery’s Fishkill office at 18 Westage Business Center, Hudson Valley Towne Center, Suite 6, in Fishkill.

The five winning numbers for TAKE 5 are drawn from the set of 39 available numbers every day at 11:21 p.m.
