Town Of Bedford Is Seeking 'Snow Angels' To Help Senior Neighbors

Snow has been a rarity so far, but there are still weeks yet for winter storms to create havoc and offer the perfect chance to lend a hand.

Bedford Recreation and Parks Department is seeking members of the community to volunteer and help their senior neighbors. Seniors for whom it is not possible or too dangerous to dig out cars or paths after a snowstorm are encouraged to enroll in this new town-facilitated program. High School upperclass-persons are encouraged to join as volunteers. The Recreation and Parks Department may be able to provide a letter in support for high school community service hours.
