There is a meeting of the North Bellmore Civic Association on Monday, June 10th at 7:00 PM. The meeting will be held at the North Bellmore Public Library.
Our guest speakers for this month are 1st Precinct Commander Inspector Joseph McGrane, Fire Commissioner Ed Kraus, and Dan Sabia and Nancy Hiler. Inspector McGrane will discuss topics such as precinct consolidation status, staffing, crime, traffic enforcement, neighborhood issues, and problem oriented policing. Commissioner Ed Kraus will discuss his election to the board of commissioners and the departments operations. Dan Sabia, president & ceo, and Nancy Hiler, coo, of a local solar energy group called Built Well Solar will give a presentation to the community on solar energy and its tax benefits.
