Bronxville DAR Raise $1,600 for Fire Victims and Schools

Anne Hutchinson Chapter, NSDAR, donated $1600 from their annual Spring fundraiser for scholaships and to Ladle of Love for fire victims

Bronxville, NY- Anne Hutchinson Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, Bronxville, raised $1600 at their annual Spring fundraiser. A unanimous vote by the board, moderated by Regent, April Sandmeyer, which included Vice Regent and Corresponding Secy., Cynthia Cristofaro, 2nd Vice Regent, Marian Moore, Historian and Recording Secy, Patrice Kane, Treasurer, Eugenie Roussell-Harrison, Registrar, Debbie Cestone, and Chaplain, Carolyn Gallagher, voted to donate $500 to Bronxville's Ladle of Love to benefit the victims of the devastating fire that destroyed 64 apartments on Parkview Ave., displacing 150 residents and pets, and, injuring firemen, in addition to the scholarships that the Spring fundraiser usually provides to local and DAR schools. Fortunately, there were no civilian fatalities and no DAR members affected by the fire.
