Bronxville, NY- Once upon an October eve, a group of story-loving fourth-grade and kindergarten students gathered at The Chapel School for a night of fun, friends and family. Clad in cozy pajamas, these children as well as their parents and teachers delighted in making bookmarks, reading together and, of course, indulging in delicious treats such as milk and cookies. Sharing a good tale was a central theme for this family night as parent mystery readers surprised our eager and enthusiastic students with beloved read alouds, and students participated in grade level book exchanges. Overall, the evening was a celebration of the worlds visited through the pages of books and the stories created in a community of friends. Now, that's a happy ending!
