Chapel School Students Go “Up and Away” with Liberty Balloons

Bronxville, NY- The thrilling spectacle of a hot air balloon combined with an inspiring and educational presentation on the science of ballooning touched down at The Chapel School on Tuesday! On Tuesday, October 1st The Chapel School PTO organized a school assembly in partnership with Liberty Balloon Company sponsored by Re-Max Realty. In the exciting presentation, students learned about the history of aviation and ballooning, the effects of weather and the mechanics of ballooning. The students first heard the presentation in their classrooms and then were brought to the gym to witness the balloon being inflated. They also were given the opportunity to participate in an interactive walk-through of a fully inflated balloon. Almost in unison the students exclaimed, “WOW! This is so cool!”
