Don't Bother Checking Your Mail Today, USPS Says They're Not Delivering

Due to dangerous driving conditions caused by the snow storm, the United States Postal Service has suspended operations in Westchester.

The United States Postal Service announced Tuesday that due to driving conditions caused by winter Storm Juno, they have suspended operations in the Northeast region.

“Strong winds and near-blizzard conditions will continue to make travel and mail delivery nearly impossible. As a result, the Postal Service has temporarily suspended delivery and retail operations in several locations as we cope with this major snowstorm,” the USPS said on their website.

The following locations have reported suspended operations for Tuesday, according to USPS.com:

  • Connecticut Valley District – 010-012, 060-065, 067: All retail, delivery and plants are closed.
  • Triboro District – 103, 110-114, 116: All retail, delivery and plants are closed.
  • Northern New Jersey District – 070-076, 078-079: Retail offices and plants are closed.
  • New York District – 100-102, 104: Delivery and retail offices are closed.

  • Stamford, Ct 068
  • Westchester, NY 105
  • New York, NY 100
  • Queens, NY 110
  • Brooklyn, NY 112
