Gramatan Village's Sherry Saturno Named National Expert on Aging

National Association of Social Workers Names Gramatan Village's Sherry Saturno National Expert on Aging, Caregiving, and Mental Health

The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) has named Gramatan Village’s Executive Director Sherry Saturno as one of their national experts in the fields of Aging, Caregiving, and Mental Health as part of their 1,000 Experts Initiative. Founded in 1955, the NASW is the largest membership organization for social workers in the world, with more than 120,000 members. The NASW creates professional standards and advances sound social policies. Sherry will assist the press, public, and policymakers who seek guidance on aging, caregiving, and mental health related matters, and will advise NASW on these topics. Sherry is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Diplomate in Clinical Social Work, and graduated from Columbia University School of Social Work.

Gramatan Village is a non-profit organization that supports adults ages 55 and up who want to age in the home and neighborhood that they love. We support empowered aging-in-community with a network of volunteers, experts, professional referrals, and peer connections that enable members to stay independent, vital, and engaged as they grow older.
