Westy Self Storage Hosts Donation Drive for Girl Scout Troop 2642
Westy Tuckahoe supports Troop 2642 by hosting a donation drive for the Harvey family, a local family with special needs this holiday season.
Tuckahoe High School alumni Jennifer Harvey has been battling cancer. She has successfully beat lung cancer but after many surgeries, she will now undergo chemotherapy for breast cancer. Jennifer also has a son with special needs and due to the severity of the situation, she will have to live separate from her family during her treatment and recovery. With your help, Girl Scouts Troop 2642 would like to ease the holidays for this special family.
Westy Self Storage in Tuckahoe located at 65 Marbledale Avenue, between Bronxville and Scarsdale, will serve as a designated drop off location for donations. Collection items include new, unopened gifts geared towards boys and girls ages 7 to 16 such as L.O.L. Surprise dolls, race cars, D.I.Y. crafts, books, S.T.E.M. activities, sports fun, and educational learning.

“We are so grateful to Westy for their assistance and their support with this project,” said Michele Brish, Troop 2642 Parent Volunteer. “Not only did they solve our storage obstacle, they jumped right in and helped us with donation drive as well. We are thankful for their generosity.”
