88-Year-Old Pedestrian Hit By Car, Killed In Brooklyn Crosswalk

His death came a day after at least three people were killed by cars in Brooklyn.

SHEEPSHEAD BAY, BROOKLYN — An 88-year-old man was hit and killed by a car in Brooklyn late Tuesday night, police said, just a day after cars in the borough killed at least two pedestrians and a cyclist.

On Tuesday, just before 9:30 p.m., the man was trying to cross Ocean Parkway at Avenue X against the traffic signal, police said. A 28-year-old driving a 2013 Honda Civic heading north on Ocean Parkway hit him, police said.

Authorities found the 88-year-old man, identified as Feliks Dadiomov in the street with "severe head and facial trauma," police said. He was taken to Coney Island Hospital and pronounced dead.
