Canarsie Driver Dies Veering Into Oncoming Traffic, Cops Say
Osamah Saleh, 32, suffered a heart attack behind the wheel on Flatlands Avenue Tuesday night, police said.
CANARSIE, BROOKLYN -- A Brooklyn man was killed when he suffered a heart attack and veered into oncoming traffic, police said.
Osamah Saleh, 32, lost control of his 2008 Nissan Pathfinder as he was driving east on Flatlands Avenue near East 76th street at about 9:40 p.m. Tuesday night, said police.
Saleh hit the gas, crossed over into the westbound lanes then sideswiped a 2013 Honda Odyssey and a 2018 Honda Accord before coming to a stop, police said.

Emergency responders rushed Saleh to Brookdale Hospital where he later died, police said.
The 44-year-old woman and the 38-year-old man who were driving the two Hondas were also taken to area hospitals for observation, said police.

Saleh went into cardiac less than one mile away from his home on Flatlands Avenue and East 54th Street, police said.
