Thief Uses Chokehold And Shoves Woman Down BK Subway Steps: Cops
Police are looking for the man who attacked a woman in a Brownsville subway station and made off with her necklace.

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN β A railway robber put a woman in a chokehold, ripped off her necklace and shoved her down a flight of subway stairs Tuesday afternoon, police said.
The suspect snuck up behind his 24-year-old victim in the Rockaway Avenue 3 train subway station in Brownsville at about 3 p.m., said police.
After snatching the necklace, he pushed the woman down the stairs, ran onto Rockaway and Livonia avenues then disappeared in the courtyard of the Marcus Garvey Village Housing Complex at 363 Chester Ave., police said.

The woman was treated for bruising on her neck in the station, said police.
Police are now looking for the suspect, whom they describe as a bald man in his 40s, standing about 5-foot 11-inches, weighing about 250 pounds, last seen wearing a red baseball cap, a red sweater, a black tank top, black pants and black sneakers.
