Reimer Home Services' New Interactive Exhibit at Explore & More Lets Buffalo Kids Try Their Hand at the Skilled Trades
BUFFALO, NY - Kids visiting Explore & More - The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Children’s Museum can now climb, explore, and tinker their way through the inner workings of a home - thanks to a brand-new interactive exhibit unveiled Friday by Reimer Home Services.
The exhibit officially opened on Dec. 19 with a ribbon-cutting event that welcomed local families, children, and community members for a day centered on hands-on learning and curiosity. Designed with kids in mind, the space introduces young visitors to real-world heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical concepts through fun, age-appropriate activities that show how homes function behind the scenes.
The goal? Make the skilled trades feel accessible, exciting, and relevant and maybe even spark a future career interest or two.

Families who attended the opening celebration enjoyed free museum admission, explored the new exhibit firsthand, and received special gift packets from Reimer, including copies of Remi the Rhino, Reimer's new children’s book created to introduce kids to the world of skilled trades in a playful way.
Reimer team members were on hand throughout the event, interacting with families and answering questions as kids tested out the exhibit’s features.

“Through our partnership with Explore & More, we’re proud to help create a space where kids can explore how things work in a fun, interactive way,” a Reimer representative shared. “By introducing these concepts early, we hope to spark curiosity and show young learners that careers in the skilled trades are impactful, in-demand, and vital to the communities we serve.”
President and CEO of Explore & More – The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Children’s Museum, Michelle Urbanczyk, echoed that sentiment, noting that the exhibit aligns closely with Explore & More’s mission to provide hands-on educational experiences that connect learning to the real world.
The new installation is now part of the museum’s permanent offerings and will be available to visitors year-round, giving Western New York families another reason to add Explore & More to their weekend plans.
