Chappaqua Chapter DAR Honor Veterans with Wreaths Across America

The Polly Cooper Chapter sponsored and laid wreaths on veterans' graves at the Old Burying Grounds and Bedford Union Cemetery

Bedford, NY - The Polly Cooper Chapter, NSDAR honored local veterans with Wreaths Across America by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country’s fallen heros on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the Old Burying Grounds in Bedford and the Bedford Union Cemetery. Wreaths were sponsored and placed on the graves of every known veteran in the cemetery, with each veteran’s name read and honored aloud. Additional wreaths were placed on other known veterans graves in nearby cemeteries. Veterans spanning from the American Revolution to present day were honored.
