Clinton Will Swear In New Castle Town Board Member: How To Watch

NEW CASTLE, NY — There will be more pomp and circumstance than usual, as newly elected New Castle Town Board member Holly McCall is inaugurated in the new year with the help of one of the country's best-known political figures.

On January 4, at 6 p.m. at New Castle Town Hall, former U.S Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will be administering a very special oath of office.

This isn't the first time that the former First Lady has lent her prestige to the proceedings at New Castle Town Hall. In February, Hillary Clinton was joined by the former POTUS to officiate the New Castle inauguration ceremonies. In 2018, Bill Clinton served as the officiant at a town hall swearing-in ceremony.

The former U.S senator and Democratic presidential nominee presided over the inauguration of former Supervisor Rob Greenstein and current Supervisor Lisa Katz when she was elected to a council seat in January of 2014.
