Dutchess Man Charged In Mount Kisco Pedestrian Hit-And-Run: WCPD
A woman was crossing the street by Northern Westchester Hospital when she was struck by a van, according to Westchester County police.

MOUNT KISCO, NY — A Dutchess County man was arrested after police say he hit a pedestrian and fled the scene.
The incident happened around 8:15 a.m. on Friday at Main St. and South Bedford Rd. in Mount Kisco. A woman was crossing the street in front of Northern Westchester Hospital when she was struck by a white van, according to police. The van then turned onto South Bedford Rd. and fled eastbound into Bedford, officials said.
The 49-year-old pedestrian suffered a head injury and was aided by Westchester County police officers until an ambulance arrived. The woman was taken to Westchester Medical Center for the non-life-threatening head injury.

While she was being helped, other Westchester County police officers searched for the suspect vehicle on I-684. An officer assigned to the Westchester County Airport precinct located the van southbound at Exit 2 in North Castle and took the driver into custody.
The driver, 28-year-old Nicholas Dilello of Poughquag, in Dutchess County, was charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and tampering with physical evidence, both felonies. He was booked at WCPD headquarters and released pending an August 18 appearance in Mount Kisco Justice Court.
