Vincent Cannato, author of the book American Passage, will speak at the Mount Kisco Public Library on Wednesday, October 13th at 6:30 pm. In this sweeping, often heart-wrenching epic, Cannato tells the first full history of Ellis Island, America's landmark port of entry, from immigration post to deportation center to mythical icon.
