Swing, Ragtime, and All That Jazz

The 1920's, 30's and 40's gave us the music that defines American popular song.  It's impossible not to tap your toes and move to the beat when you hear the swinging, danceable rythms of the big band music from that era.

Well, get ready to tap, because one of the best performers and experts in music from the Swing era will be performing at Chappaqua Library on November 21.  Peter Muir is a seasoned entertainer with a rollicking and proficient piano style.  Specializing in ragtime, blues, and early jazz, he delights audiences with a fun and uplifting performance of piano and song.

This is a performance for all ages, from children to teens to adults.  Even if you don't think you're familiar with Ragtime and Swing, you'll find yourself singing along to songs you didn't even know you knew!  Peter Muir, along with his wife, Judith Muir, believe in the therapeutic effects of music for all.  Don't miss this uplifting performance!
